HAZY RIDE

23 June 2013 - We done a short ride due to a heavy haze in Hulu Langat.  We decided to obey to the advise that comprises 3 tips to stay safe during this awful haze :

- Reduce or avoid excessive outdoor activities
- Wear a mask or a respirator if you need to head out
- Drink plenty of water

We decided  to ride in the early morning to avoid poor visibility cause by haze after afternoon. We tried to get more mileage during this ride but the haze is too thick to finish it  and its too difficult to breath. On our way descending Genting Peres we met our friends at the roadside. Their tires was puncture and we gave them a hand. At first, they thought that their tires were just lack of air but at last they notice that their tubes was torn. After that, we continue our ride and went home.

We feel proud everytime we help cyclist as we treat every cyclist as our friends without racism and prejudice.

Here are some video that we want to share with you :

COUNTLESS RIDE

16 Jun 2013 - We still maintain a 100km distance in purpose to increase our stamina, cardiovascular, muscle, mental and body flexibility. We done twice for Genting Peres and half of Bukit Titi and also Gunung Nuang which popular and known among cyclist with its heavy gradient of climb.

We feel quite toughing along Gunung Nuang route and a heavy climb at Genting Peres as we done it twice. Along this ride we are not compromise with quality of ride as our aimed to finish this 100km below 3 hours.

We have to discipline our training and tie ourselves into below 3 hours to feel as close as possible as in Century Ride Malaysia. Honestly, it is hard to invite friends into this discipline ride as most of prefer for leisure ride with an average speed below 25 km per hour. We believe that combination between endurance, speed and stamina will give the best result. We also believe that as weekend rider (which only training at weekend ) it is unfair to compare to a full time cyclist for comparison. Some say that it is fair to compare a green apple to green apple....

We met an accident in front of  Dusun Tua Mosque which involve a car and motorcycle which was rode by an old women, the car make right turn without any signal and the other was at 1.5 km to Perkampungan orang asli  Genting Peres which involve a motorcycle which was speeding around the corner. We rode 100km without stopping for a meal in order to build stamina and mental strength. We also had been invited to ride at Gunung Inas, Negeri Sembilan but we refuse the offer because we running out of time.

For the information, we are cyclist consist of a father and two sons.

Here are the actual footage of our ride:

100KM DISTANCE

9/6/2013 - Amiruddin and Redzwan Shah have done 100km ride with elevation within 460 to 510 meters below sea level. The route is quite challenging with multiple and different elevation. Most of the gradient between 8 to 9.5%. We plan to complete our 150km route but failed because of heavy rain at 100km. On safety reason caused by slippy road, we satisfied with our 100km ride.

On the way back, we saw many cyclist having a puncture tyre, we give a hand but unluckily we have a puncture too.

It is totally great for speeding and climbing. It is really hard and need great stamina in order to handle this type of bike.
